Franciscan Sisters’ Vocation Song Released

The Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity featured August song released on 2nd August, 2010. The Franciscan vocation song is Kurt Denison's 'I Am', which can be downloaded freely at the Franciscanized World. As St. Francis, a follower of Jesus, searched for his true identity within and around him, Denison's song 'I Am' encourages people to reflect on life's deeper realities in the summer sun.
The Michigan native Denison learned to play piano at the small age of 6. Later he also learned to play the guitar and the saxophone. The songs which he writes reflect a humble nature and shares uplifting thoughts. 100% of the proceeds from his album Surface will be going to Friends of Grand Rapids parks.
The Roman Catholic Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity was established in 1869. They serve in Catholic health care, education and parish ministries in dioceses throughout the United States with selfless dedication.
